I am so tired this morning and I am so happy that it’s not a running day. Congestion kept Chloe awake and miserable last night for three hours and it seemed that nothing could help her calm down. My husband and I tried feeding her, clearing her nose, watching the Muppets, giving her Tylenol, but still nothing worked. I hate when she’s miserable and I can’t make her feel better.
We went to the doctor this morning to see if she had an ear infection or something serious. Nope, just allergies and teething. While waiting for the doctor to come in, she and I played “Where’s Chloe?” and ripped the tissue paper.
I’ll need to take it easy today to make sure that my leg can recover from last night’s ordeal. I usually try to get at least eight hours of sleep so that the swelling in my leg can go down, but last night I only managed to get four. My leg feels heavy and tight, and the range of motion at my ankle and knee feels restricted. If I can’t manage to reduce the swelling then I’ll probably do some physical therapy tonight.
How often do you do your physical therapy, MLD and bandaging?
